EASYCare Sealer Remover - 5 Litre

EASYCare Sealer Remover is suitable for removing polymer-based sealers that coat the surface of paving that may be unsightly, peeling, tired, ineffective or bloomed. Once treated, the remanence can be power washed from the surface. EASYCare Sealer Remover is not effective on impregnating sealers which soak in to the substrate of the paving rather than on the surface.

Key Features

Effective Sealant Removal
EASYCare Sealer Remover helps to strip polymer-based sealants, lacquer, varnish and paintwork from paving, wood and metalwork.
Safe To Use
Like the majority of EASYCare products, Sealer Remover is acid-free and low odour, making it safe to use straight from the tub.
Restores and Prepares Paving
EASYCare Sealer Remover can remove tired, peeling and ineffective sealants to restore the look of the paving, whilst also preparing it for fresh water-based cleaners and sealants to give a fresh level of protection to your patio.
Sealer Remover should be applied at a rate of 1-1.5M2 per litre, giving a coverage of 5-7.5M2 per 5 litre tub. Coverage can vary dependant on the porosity and texture of the surface, level of contamination and the application method used.
How To Apply
1. Remove loose dirt and debris from the area prior to applying. 2. Ensure surface is fully dry before application 3. Shake well before use. 4. Apply a generous coat using a brush at a rate of 1-1.5M2 per litre for a thick, even coat. 5. Allow the Sealer Remover to act - the wait time will vary dependant on the level of sealant to be removed as well as environmental factors, allow the product to penetrate, do not shortcut the process. 5. Test a small section to see if the Sealer Remover has had the desired effect 6. Once satisfied, use a power washer to easily remove the coating from the surface
Always test first on a small, inconspicuous area or spare piece first to ensure suitability and finish. Ideal application conditions would be between 10ºC and 30ºC. Avoid applying during rain, frost or when surface or air temperatures will be below 5ºC. Keep children and pets away until cleaning is complete and the surface has fully dried. Protect surfaces which may be damaged by Sealer Remover such as plastics, rubber and Perspex, etc.
